SIBBCCS408A: Promote healthy nutritional options in a beauty therapy context

Gain an understanding of healthy, balanced diets, vitamins and minerals contained in the food groups and the internal and external effects of diet and environment on the skin and systems of the body. You will learn about the digestive system - the structures and functions of the organs that proces our food and how the organs convert enzymes into functions our body needs, the chemical reactions and stages of how it breaks down.

This is a core unit for the Diploma of Beauty Therapy qualification and is also a pre-requisite for the Advanced Facials course.

Students will be required to come in to sit the final exam, available dates will be organised with the student when they are ready to sit the exam.

Student's who successfully complete this course will receive a Statement of Attainment for the above unit which is a core unit in the Diploma of Beauty Therapy qualification.

Course Duration:

Students study at their own pace and completion can be between 1 to 3 months for students to complete.
