Hot stone massage can become an extension of your current massage practice for healing and balancing, allowing a deeper level of pressure and relaxation. Hot stone massage works on the mind, body and soul while concentrating on the physiological and psychological effects, incorporating Swedish massage, reflexology, shiatsu techniques and balancing of the charka's of the body. Using specific placement of large stones to heal and sooth areas of the body helps to promote the feeling of balance and well being.
