Diploma of Beauty Therapy (SIB50110) Distance Course

Now you can achieve your Diploma of Beauty Therapy from home!

AIBT offers you the ability to complete the Diploma of Beauty Therapy by correspondence (a.k.a. distance or online). Please note - we also offer full time on campus and part time on campus study options as well if you do not want to study by distance.

You will learn popular spa treatments such as hot stone massage, indian head massage and body wraps as well as other in demand treatments such as microdermabrasion and spray tanning. Complete the theory components by home study, practice treatments watching the provided DVD's at home and attend two to three practical one week intensive training and assessment blocks on campus.

During the course you will attend two to three practical one week training and assessment blocks (at the AIBT Gold Coast campus) which will be booked with your tutor as you progress through the course.

Qualification & Units of Competency

Student's who successfully complete all of the units listed below will receive the nationally recognised SIB50110: Diploma of Beauty Therapy qualification. This is the latest qualification in Beauty Therapy and includes new exciting units in spa treatments such as stone therapy massage, Indian head massage and more.

Price:

The course fees are for a position in the course and are payable whether the student completes the course or not. Upon enrolling in the course, the student (and guarantor/s) becomes liable to the institute for the full course fees.

Additional Costs/Required Equipment:

• Basic stationary - e.g. pens, pencil & rubber, colour pencils, highlighters.
• It is highly recommended that you have your own beauty/massage table at home to enable you to practice.
• Beauty products - you will be provided with some supplier contacts for products and may be eligible for student prices
• Transport and accomodation to attend practical training intensive blocks. Dates to be coordinated with your tutor.
