This course incorpoates the Certificate II in Makeup Services and the Certificate II in Nail Technology to give students the skills to start their career in the beauty industry.

Students will learn makeup application (natural, day, evening, photography, dark skin etc), nail treatments (including manicure and pedicure and acrylic and gel nail enhancements), temporary epilation & bleaching (waxing and hair removal) treatments and sales and merchandising skills for beauty products.

Students in year 11 or 12 may undertake this course as part of the VET in schools program, to contribute towards their high school certificate.

Qualification

Nationally Recognised TrainingStudents who successfully complete the course will receive the nationally recognised Certificate III in Beauty Services (WRB30104) qualification.

Graduates are eligible for enrolment in the Diploma of Beauty Therapy courses and will be eligible for direct credit for units completed in this course.

Course Duration & Dates

There are two options for completion of this course:

Option 1: Friday's + Saturday's + 2 Week Intensive in the School Holidays

  • Starting: 10th of July 2009
  • Finishing: 6th of November 2009

Students attend:

  • Each Friday from the 10th of July to the 6th of November plus,
  • Each Saturday from the 18th of July to the 31st of October plus,
  • A two week intensive from the Tuesday the 21st of Sept - Saturday the 26th of Sept and Tuesday the 28th of Sept - Saturday the 3rd of October (This falls during the school holidays)

Option 2: Friday's + 2 Week Intensive in the School Holidays

  • Starting: 10th of July 2009
  • Finishing: 23rd of April 2009

Students attend:

  • Each Friday from the 10th of July to the 6th of November; plus -
  • A two week intensive from the Tuesday the 21st of Sept - Saturday the 26th of Sept and Tuesday the 28th of Sept - Saturday the 3rd of October (This falls during the school holidays); plus -
  • Each Friday from the 8th of January to the 23rd of April.

You will Receive

Students receive a mineral makeup kit and a brush set valued at $80 and a manicure kit and nail polish set valued at $50 plus a text book.

Student's will also have the use of the school equipment and products for all treatments in class.

Course Fees

The course fees include course equipment, materials and text book.

Discounted Upfront Payment: $3750.

  • Balance due on course commencement date: $3,375.
Payment Plan: $4125.
