Body Electrics Course

The body electrics course provides you with advanced methods to help improve your clients posture, reduce cellulite and firm tissues. This will enable you to design a specific treatment plan for your clients body type, acoording to their specific needs to help reduce cellulite and improve muscle tone in their target areas. You will be able to assist your clients with targeted exercises and you will map your own results throughout the course.

You will learn how to use the following machines in the body electrics module:

• Faradic: improve muscle tone and definition, re-educate inactive muscles and also helps with lymphactic draining and removal of waste.
• G5: mechanical massage to aid lymph draining and is especially effective with improving cellulite.
• Vaccum Suction: helps with the reduction of fluid retention and loose tissue.
• High Frequency: direct setting promotes skin healing and is good for treating acne, the indirect setting is good for relieving muscle tension and pre-warming before massage.

This course forms part of the Diploma of Beauty Therapy course and will allow students to receive credit for this unit against the Diploma of Beauty Therapy.

Units of Competency:

Students who successfully complete the course will be eligible to achieve competency in the units listed above. Students will receive a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment for the units successfully completed from the Diploma of Beauty Therapy on completion of the course.

Pre-requisite Requirements

Student's must have successfully completed our Facials, Advanced Facials, Massage, Chemistry and Nutrition modules. Students who have not completed these modules with us must have successfully completed the following units of competency (or equivilent) and must provide a certified copy of their transcript of results with their enrolment.

• SIBBFAS405A: Provide facial treatments
• SIBBCCS404A: Work in a skin therapies framework
• SIBBCCS407A: Interpret the chemical composition and physical actions of cosmetic products
• SIBBBOS401A: Perform body massage
• SIBBCCS406A: Use electricity in beauty therapy treatments
• SIBBFAS405A: Provide advanced facial treatments

Course Duration:

This course runs over 8 weeks on either Friday's (9am - 3.30pm) or Saturday's (9.30am - 4pm).

Price:

$950.00. A $200.00 minimum non-refundable deposit is required to enrol and secure a position in the course. The balance of the course fees is due on the course commencement date. (A 5 week direct-debit payment plan with ezypay is available. A $25 admin fee applies to payment plans, information will be sent to students with their confirmation of enrolment).
